[SBS Entertainment News | Reporter Kang Kyung-yoon] i-DLE member Yuqi is bringing a unique 90s vibe in her upcoming solo release.
On September 12, Cube Entertainment posted a teaser for Yuqi’s first solo single Motivation’s title track M.O. on i-DLE’s official social media channels. The teaser features part of the lyrics, “So What’s your M.O.?”, along with Yuqi’s signature rhythmic beats, sparking curiosity among fans.
In the teaser, Yuqi promises visually striking scenes. She showcases bold personal style in surreal spaces, wearing stylish nails and daring hats to highlight her strong individuality. In a 90s-inspired office setting, she confidently stands atop desks made of office paper, drawing attention with her free-spirited presence. Additional unexpected scenes, such as removing a blue wig in a vintage hair salon, further heighten anticipation for the full music video.
Prior to this, Yuqi received enthusiastic support from fans for her photobook concept inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Her pre-release track Apda also gained attention for its pure visuals, polished acting, and high-quality music, ranking at the top of China’s QQ Music video charts.
The title track M.O. adopts a 90s hip-hop mood, highlighting Yuqi’s bold, confident attitude and fresh artistic approach.
Yuqi’s solo single Motivation will be released on September 16 at 6 p.m. KST across all major music platforms.
